The Pit is an incubator for the smartest, most passionate talent who are creating future of Web3. Designed by Jump Crypto to feel future-facing and inspiring, the collaborative event space is open to serious developers, artists, and everyone in between.
The Pit will host hackathons and other events, featuring a diverse roster of industry leaders, to connect talent, share learnings, and ultimately build the future of Web3. The Pit is located at 600 W. Chicago Ave. in Chicago, IL

Firedancer is a first-of-its-kind project to drastically increase Solana’s networking throughput, efficiency, and resiliency by developing a new open-source validator client for the network using the C++ programming language.
The project is led by Jump Crypto, an organization that develops critical infrastructure needed to catalyze the growth of the crypto ecosystem, and the Solana Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the decentralization, advancement, and security of the Solana network, a high performance blockchain. The initiative represents an important step in the network’s continued decentralization and maintains Solana’s place as the best place to build in web3 while scaling to a billion users.
